Podium is a talent community of skilled people that are unable to work on a conventional basis due their disability or impairment yet are able to add significant expertise and value to organisations in all industries and geographies.

What is Podium?

Podium is an online marketplace that connects skilled people with a disability or impairment directly with ambitious employers on a freelance basis and vice versa.

By following a simple registration process, those looking for freelance work are able to create a personal profile and will have access to current job postings, identify roles that they believe are suitable and contact the employer directly.

Companies looking to hire will be able to follow a similar registration process, create a company profile, post assignments and search available freelance workers and contact them directly.

When hirers and freelancers agree to work together Podium manages the entire invoicing and payment for services process. Only at this stage do we deduct a fee for our services which we share with the freelancers chosen charity!

Who are The Ability People?

Podium is part of The Ability People (www.theabilitypeople.com) and is a ‘for profit’ social enterprise dedicated to empowering people with disabilities. We help companies enhance processes and adapt cultures, transforming professional lives and building better brands.

Co-founded in 2018 by Paralympian Liz Johnson, The Ability People is built upon the skills and drive of individuals who have overcome extraordinary challenges to achieve success in the worlds of sport, industry, community and education, so we have a unique perspective on success and understand the true value of meaningful inclusion.

We support positive change through inspiring presentations, advice and education through workshops and interactive sessions and by supporting organisations and leaders through process and culture change programmes.,
